Since its founding in 1991 by co-founder Elizabeth Reilly, the Hudson Theatre has become a pivotal part of LA’s theater community, earning hundreds of awards and nominations from organizations such as the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, the NAACP, and DramaLogue.
In 2004, the theater received further acclaim, being honored by both the California State Assembly and the City of Los Angeles for its contributions to the arts. The Hollywood Arts Council also presented the Hudson with the prestigious Charlie Award, recognizing its significant impact on the cultural landscape.
For those passionate about theater, the Hudson offers three intimate stages, including one set up as a screening room, all available for rent.
