  • Capacity
    The entire floor can accommodate 300 guests comfortably. HHS West – 100 The Hub – 100 HHS East-100 Booking Minimum – 25 guests* – Reach out to confirm availability
  • Security deposit and cancellation deposit
    What’s the security deposit? A 50% venue rental fee is the security deposit. Cancellation policy Venue deposit is non-refundable, 30 days cancellation 75% refund, 14 days out 25% of deposits refund made after the venue deposit.
  • Event setup/breakdown
    Is dropping off items the day before the event allowed? Dropping off items before the event is allowed depending on the availability. Who is responsible for coordinating events? We have a venue event coordinator that monitors set up and breakdown of events from our event staff or the clients if it was approved.
  • Sound
    Is there a sound ordinance? No Is live music allowed onsite? Yes. The space also has a Sonos Sound System in all event spaces available at any time during your rental window.
  • Physical structure, restrictions, and vendors
    What’s included with a venue rental? Tables and chairs – we do offer packages that are inclusive. Is there a place to get ready onsite? The studio offers a great hair and makeup room. Is the venue wheelchair-accessible? Yes Is security provided? Yes What is the parking situation/is there valet? Yes and we offer off-site parking for an additional fee Are outside caterers allowed? We do have a preferred vendors list but approved outside caterers are allowed. Can I provide my own alcohol? No Are open flames allowed? No What are the decorating restrictions? HHS is a woman-owned business developed by experienced artists to assist other creatives in their own endeavors. Our founders and experts, recognize all the needs of photo/video production and designed all of our spaces keeping that in mind. Our studios are equipped with modern amenities and our welcoming staff is happy to provide you with all the information you need and treat you to our famous, freshly baked cookies. Does HHS have its own creative team available? Feast or Folly is HHS’s creative team. Formed by our founders, photographer Renee and stylist Sienna, Feast or Folly relishes the challenge of bringing a creative idea to life. There’s nothing they love more than a project that allows them to explore and grow together as artists. Is there parking available? Besides its own parking, there are 2 Loading zones strategically positioned and plenty of street parking available to facilitate your production load-in and out daily.
  • Payment, insurance, and cancellation
    What type of payment does HHS accept? Checks, Cash Checks, and Direct Wires are the only forms of payment we accept. Is Insurance required for bookings? Insurance is required for all photo/video productions. At Customer’s expense, a public liability and property damage insurance certificate with a combined single liability limit of at least 2 million dollars, insuring against all liability of Customer, Customer’s representatives, agents, invitees, successors, and assigns arising out of connections with Customer’s occupancy, use of the Studio, and use of equipment. The insurance certificate, “COI” must name: Feast or Folly, LLC, 1106 N. Hudson Avenue, LA, CA 90038, and Santa Monica Hudson Assoc., LP 6161 Santa Monica Blvd., #200, LA, CA 90038, as “additionally insured”. A certificate of insurance is required within 72 hours of production. What is the cancellation policy? Cancellations of all booked dates must be made within 48 hours for a full refund. Cancellations without sufficient notice will incur a fee equal to 50% of the full rental rate.
  • Equipment and Props
    Where to rent equipment and props? Quixote, located 0.4 mile away from the studio offers a 20% discount on all equipment while renting at HHS, plus free delivery and pick up. A unique and highly curated tabletop prop & surface rental shop for food, product, and lifestyle shoots is located in our very own building. Partnered with HHS, The Surface Library offers 3 different prop package deals designed to facilitate every photo/video production.
